The Transport Training Board is a registered charity with its main objective to promote training for the automotive, logistics and transport industries throughout Northern Ireland.
The Board and its subsidiary social enterprise company, Transport Training Services, currently employs 16 staff and, with a number of sub-contractors, delivers services based at its modern purpose built training centre at Nutts Corner near Antrim. There is a combined group annual turnover of excess of £1m.
This is one of two new lead trainer posts. This Lead Trainer will supervise the work of a multi-disciplinary team of Automotive Trainers and play an active role in education and training within all curricular areas. The post-holder will have responsibility for teaching and developing apprenticeship and other programmes.
