Workplace Mentoring Programme | Managing Apprentices

TTS knows from experience that bringing apprentices into the workplace, whilst vital to the future workforce, can sometimes come with unique challenges.  The experience will be more rewarding if both parties are well prepared.  We are here to make the transition as smooth as possible for both the apprentice and you as the employer.

We have designed a Workplace Mentoring Programme which has been specially designed to develop a member of your team to give him/her the management skills required to support your apprentice(s) from the start to the end of his/her apprenticeship framework.

These 3 x 3 hour training and mentoring sessions cover the following topics:

  • Improving communication
  • Motivating others
  • Assessing performance and providing feedback

These sessions will be delivered via remote learning over Zoom, and a mixture of evening and day time sessions will be accommodated.

This programme is specifically tailored for workshop supervisors / journeymen and focuses on communication in an on-the-job workshop working environment.  It will give your identified staff member both the practical skills and confidence needed to successfully integrate apprentices into your organisation.
