Customer Feedback - Transport Training

TTS regularly surveys its customers (apprentices and professional development clients) on a range of topics including quality of teaching, teaching methods, facilities and support received, and across the board respondents are highly satisfied.

Apprentice Feedback Statistics & Comments

We have 3 years’ of apprentice surveys as follows:

  • When asked to rate the following statement: “All things considered, I made the right choice following this course/training programme” every apprentice surveyed answered ‘agree’ or ‘strongly agree’.
  • When asked to rate the following statement: “My course/training programme is preparing me well for my next steps (find a job, another course/training programme and so on)”, all but one apprentice surveyed answered ‘agree’ or ‘strongly agree’.
  • When asked to rate the following statement: “Staff in the organisation care about my progress”, every apprentice surveyed answered ‘agree’ or ‘strongly agree’.

When asked “What do you enjoy most about your training programme?” some responses were as follows:

  • Lay out of the blocks of learning
  • Learning in the workshop
  • Learning something new everyday
  • Nothing in particular i enjoy most aspects of the programme
  • The week blocks rather than one or two days a week
  • The amount of new stuff I Am learning
  • It is shorter and more intense which I like
  • Everything is easy to understand and provides everything needed to pass
  • The approach taken by trainer/assessor in the teaching and demonstrations given in the workshop.

Professional Development Customer Feedback Statistics & Comments

We have 4 years’ worth of customer feedback, which is proactively sought out from customers.  The ratings received over this 4 year time period are below:

  • My objectives for attending the course were met – 99% answered YES
  • Facilitator’s experience / knowledge of the subject – 98% answered ‘excellent’ or ‘good’
  • Course Content (Coverage / Content of the subject) – 95% answered ‘excellent’ or ‘good’
  • I will be able to apply what I’ve learnt to my job – 98% answered YES
  • I have benefitted from the training course and found it meaningful, interesting and worthwhile? – 93% answered ‘strongly agree’ or ‘agree’
